Security Bank Foundation, Inc. (SBFI) is the corporate social responsibility arm of Security Bank Corporation. SBFI was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock, non-profit organization on August 25, 1993. Since its inception, SBFI has advocated for education as a long-term solution to poverty alleviation through its various programs such as building classrooms, continuous training and development of teachers, and providing scholarships to deserving students. SBFI believes that by ensuring a better quality of education for the Filipino youth, a better future for the nation is secured.
While the Security Bank Foundation focuses on improving the state of education in the country through classrooms and training interventions for public schools, the Foundation has also consistently found ways to reach out to marginalized individuals and communities to provide them the tools that will empower them to become productive citizens. These include health and well-being initiatives such as ambulance donation to Philippine Red Cross, supporting health missions as well as providing medical financial assistance to Security Bank employees and agency personnel including their dependents.
