The Resorts World Philippines Cultural Heritage Foundation (RWPCHFI), formerly Manila Bayshore Heritage Foundation, Inc. was registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit organization on September 7, 2011. It was established through the efforts of Traveller’s International Hotel Group, Inc. (TIHGI) in compliance with the Provisional License Agreement with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) being granted an authority to operate a casino in the Philippines. The Provisional License required to incorporate and register a Foundation for the “restoration of cultural heritage” and to undertake other projects directed by the general objective of achieving corporate social responsibility. Its office is located at 10/F Newport Entertainment and Commercial Centre, Newport Boulevard, Newport Cybertourism Economic Zone, Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The Foundation has seven (7) seconded staff from TIHGI and has five (5) members of the Board of Trustees.
It was certified for one (1) year on June 23, 2016 and which ended on June 28, 2017.
The Foundation’s primary purpose is to be a valuable arm in propagating cultural heritage, the arts, history and the humanities and also become a strong supporter of benevolent efforts towards the less fortunate. Current program focus areas include: (1) Cultural Heritage, (2) Education Infrastructure, and (3) Environment & Health.
