The Mindanao Land Acquisition, Housing & Development Foundation, Inc.(MLAHDFI or MinLand) was registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit corporation on February 1, 1989 by a group of incorporators to respond to complex development problems of rural and urban poor communities in the Philippines. It started with its Community Mortgage Program and operates in Mindanao. Its main office is located at 62 Tatad St., Dumanlas, Buhangin, Davao City. The foundation has 9 project –based staff, 2 consultants and 7 members of the Board of Trustees.
It was certified for 5 years on February 24, 2008 and which ended on December 23, 2013. It took them almost 4 years to re-apply for PCNC Certification because it took them years to amend its Articles of Incorporation.
Its purposes, among others, are “to enable poor communities to overcome poverty, disaster risk and displacement.” The Foundation’s programs/projects now focus on the following areas:

- Disaster Resiliency
- Livelihood & Enterprise Development
- Water, Health & Sanitation Services
