The Lingkod Muntinlupa Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit corporation established on October 23, 2014 and organized by a group of professional doctors and lawyers who wanted to improve the quality of life of Muntinlupa citizens. The main focus of the Foundation is to augment the available programs and services in the City of Muntinlupa where the local government needs additional support or assistance.
On 23 March 2015, the Lingkod Muntinlupa Foundation, Inc. entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with the City Government of Muntinlupa in order to start the Muntinlupa Care Card (MCC) Project. The MCC Project uses a smart card technology that allows (i) cardholders to ride e-jeepneys for free, (ii) faster processing of the “no balance billing” for patients at the Ospital ng Muntinlupa, (iii) easy access to scholarship funds and allowances for students, and (iv) easy access to the Sikap Loan Program of the local government.
Since then, the Foundation has ventured into other partnerships and projects that are mostly community-based addressing the needs of Muntinlupeños, especially the marginal sector (women, elderly, senior citizens, Persons with Disabilities, and children). It actively engages the people of Muntinlupa to enhance community empowerment on a city-wide level and develops policies and local laws that can strengthen the values and time-honored traditions of Filipinos.
