JUBILEE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY (JCA) exists today because a handful of men and women worked into reality the God-given vision of a quality school that teaches English, Filipino, and Chinese subjects in a Christian context. Since its founding, JCA has prepared its students for excellence in the different areas of our society to influence them for the Great Commission.
The Christian Gospel Truth Foundation, Inc. (CGTFI), a non-stock, non-profit corporation, established Jubilee Christian Elementary School (JCES) in Matienza, San Miguel, Manila in 1967.
In 1968, the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sports (MECS) granted full recognition to the JCES Kindergarten Department and in 1969 JCES graduated its first batch of Elementary students.
The MECS granted government recognition for a complete six-year elementary course in 1973.
In 1980, JCES moved from a wooden building in Matienza to the concrete building in New Manila, Quezon City, received a special permit for the operation of the High School Department and was named Jubilee Christian High School (JCHS).
JCHS was renamed Jubilee Christian Academy (JCA) in 1986 and JCA reinforced its pursuit for academic excellence in the Christian context.
In 2001, construction of the new building at E. Rodriguez started at the year-end of 2001. The Preschool Department moved in November 2002. On December 01, 2003, the High School Department followed. The Elementary Department stays on in D. Hemady.
In 2013, DepEd required the school to have a separate identity from the Foundation. Thus, JCA was incorporated as a separate legal entity and was registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit institution on May 6, 2013.
