Jetti Foundation International, Inc. (JFII) was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a non-stock, non-profit corporation on July 9, 2013 but started its operations in 2015. It is the corporate social responsibility arm of Jetti Petroleum, Inc., an all Filipino-owned company engaged in the importation, blending, distribution and retailing of petroleum products. JFII was established for charitable purposes to facilitate sustainable and holistic programs and services that improve quality of lives of the marginalized communities located near the Jetti Petroleum Bulk Terminals and other underprivileged communities. It is an operating organization. The office is located at Jetti Business Center, Pres. D. Macapagal Ave., CBP 1-A, Pasay City. The Foundation has 1 regular staff, 1 probationary staff, 2 project-based staff, 2 seconded staff from the mother corporation, and 5 members of the Board of Trustees.
It was first certified for 1 year on January 31, 2017 and which ended on December 14, 2017.
Its purposes, among others, are “to empower communities through structural development and capability building programs; to develop and train key individuals living in, but not limited to, their partner communities by providing opportunities for education, values formation, character development, health, skills training to be able to contribute to the improvement and growth of their communities; and to serve by giving emergency aid to calamity stricken areas”. The Foundation’s current programs include: 1) Make a Child Smile (children welfare and youth development); 2) Kabuhayan Para sa Kinabukasan Program (skills training and livelihood); 3) Care for Elderly Program (medical mission, fitness and wellness); 4) Clean World Mission (tree and mangrove planting and coastal clean up); 5) Emergency Response. Areas of operation include: Naic, Cavite; Iloilo; Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental; Mariveles, Bataan, and the cities of Paranaque and Pasay.
