Isla Lipana & Co. Foundation, Inc. was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on August 10, 2007 as a non-stock, non-profit organization which serves as the corporate responsibility arm of Isla Lipana & Co. It is a corporate operating foundation. It was founded to promote social awareness and responsibility among partners, principals, employees, alumni and friends of the firm with projects focusing on education, community engagements and environmental protection. Its main office is located at 29th Floor Philamlife Tower, 8767, Paseo de Roxas, Makati City. The foundation has 1 full time regular staff, 4 regular volunteers from PWC, and 9 members of the Board of Trustees.
Its purposes (V-M-G), among others, are “to be an instrument in helping society live their purpose and maximize potentials; to build trust in society and help solve important societal problems through sustainable educational and community-driven projects”. Isla Lipana & Co. Foundation., Inc. undertakes programs under the following areas: a) the seat of hope is the flagship program of the Foundation which addresses the shortage of quality classroom chairs to public schools nationwide. b) Scholarship Program – the Foundation provides full scholarship to deserving BS Accountancy Students and CPA Board reviewees. The Foundation also supports Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Isla Lipana & Co., on the following areas: Community Engagement; Responsible Business; Diversity and inclusion of Environmental stewardship.
