Hands of Love Philippines Foundation, Inc. (HOLPFI) was registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit corporation on December 18, 2007 and started full operations in 2008. It was established in the Philippines as early as 2006 by the Japan International Food for the Hungry (JIFH) thru its field office in the Philippines – food for the Hungry Philippines. Its initial projects started in San Andres Putik Naujan and the Mangyan communities in Sido, which are both located in Mindoro
Its main office is located at Sunvar Condo. Unit H (G/F) cor. Luna and Villareal St. Pasay City. It has a satellite office in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro, where the programs are being implemented. It has 5 regular, and 1 part time staff, 2 volunteers and 15 Board of Trustees.
Its aims are to meet both the spiritual and physical hunger of the poor, by speaking out to people about spiritual and physical hunger; and facilitating the provision of emergency relief services and community development strategies.

It serves the poor, indigenous people and nations as a peacemaker through community development and hope to empower community and its people to advance toward their given potential for sustainable community development”.
The Foundation operates in two communities in Naujan and Pinamalayan Oriental Mindoro where the Indigenous Peoples lives. Community organizing/development is the primary approach being implemented with education and scholarship assistance as its core programs.
