Food for Hungry Minds School, Inc. (FHMS) was registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit corporation on April 13, 2004. It’s a school providing scholarship to poor students residing in Pandacan and Paco, Manila and Malolos, Bulacan. Its main office is located at the 2nd & 3rd Floors, New form Realty Building, 1924 Taft Ave. corner Bernabe St., Pasay City 1300. The foundation has 18 regular staff, 1 part- time staff, and 6 members of the Board of Trustees.
It was first certified for one year on December 6, 2007 which ended on December 5, 2008. It renewed its certification and was given three (3) years on March 2, 2010 which ended on November 25, 2012. On its second renewal it was given 5 years on May 9, 2014 which ended on February 4, 2018.
Its purposes (V-M-G), among others, are “to provide high performance education initiatives to disadvantaged children, inspiring and empowering them to succeed in life”. The Foundation operates elementary schools in Pasay City and Malolos, Bulacan and provides effective upper elementary education from Grade 4 to Grade 6. The Foundation also provides scholarship grants to its High School and College students enrolled in different schools.
