Everest International Academy, Inc. (formerly Everest Academy, Inc.) was registered by the SEC as an academic corporation which opened in August of 2007. It was brought to the Philippines with the help of the first Filipino members of Regnum Christi. It is the first Regnum Christi School in Asia and the first Catholic international school in the Philippines. It is also one of over 200 Regnum Christi schools in 16 countries around the world.
On August 26, 2014, the Board of Trustees and members of the school formally approved the resolution to convert the school into a non-stock, not for profit corporation to better serve its mission and vision. On August 25, 2015, the SEC approved the amendments of the Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws of the school to reflect such change.
Everest Academy implements the Integral Formation model of education – a comprehensive system that seeks to educate the whole child and accompany him in his personal development. Through curricular and co-curricular programs, it develops the four dimensions of each student: intellectual, human, spiritual, apostolic. This model is successfully developing authentic Catholic leaders in RC schools worldwide.
In 2019, a Bill was approved to declare Everest International Academy, Inc. an International character status by the Philippine Government. Academy continues with RC Education accreditation in compliance with its being part of the network of schools.
