The Don Antonio O. Floirendo Sr. Foundation (AOF), Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization established mainly to bring community support services to uphold people’s lives through participatory community building. It was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on January 3, 1999. Its establishment was inspired by Don Antonio O. Floirendo, Sr.’s strong belief that social responsibility is a vocation which entails more than just efforts but also goodwill. Its office is located at DAMOSA Complex, Lanang, Davao City.
Guided by the AOF’s Vision which is “a progressive and dynamic community that values diversity, embraces vigilance and cares for the environment, thus empowered and self-reliant”, it has established the following programs and services: Barangay Health Program, Environmental Protection Program, Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Program, Educational Assistance Program, Livelihood and Technology Program, and Infrastructure Program.
Its Mission is “to help the community by providing basic services like health program, livelihood projects, and other community needs; to empower the community by awareness-raising and values-transformation activities; and to establish community networks that would become channels of information and communication with other communities”.
This Mission is concretized in the implementation of AOF’s various programs in the provinces of Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, and Bukidnon.
