Cityland Foundation, Inc. was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a non-stock, non-profit organization on February 26, 1990 for the purpose of promoting general welfare. It has supported various activities intended to provide the community benefits in terms of educational, economic and social development. It is a grant making foundation. Its main office is located at Room 301, Cityland Condominium 10, Tower II, 154 HV dela Costa St., Makati City.
Its purposes, among others are “to be part in molding the Filipino’s heart, mind and body to honour God, help other and live exemplary lives; to be a reliable partner of the Filipino home, educational institutions, NGOs and government institutions in raising up educated, well rounded and self-reliant individuals; to provide scholarship to support financially challenged students, to assist educational, cultural, charitable and humanitarian institutions by way of infrastructure, repairs, reconstruction, development, improvement of buildings, facilities and other structures and provide fixtures and other facilities for the benefit of the institution and its students, faculty, employees and guests; to assist and support institutions to carry out educational and humanitarian activities for the promotion of social welfare; and to assist victims of typhoons, fire and other natural calamities by giving them food, clothing and cash as are needed by said victims to rehabilitate themselves”. The foundations programs/projects focus on Scholarship Program; Grants to educational institutions (infrastructure and repairs) and Calamity Assistance.
