The Christian Mission Service Philippines, Inc. (CMSP) is a non-stock, non-profit organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on June 14, 1989 by a group of committed Christian leaders, sharing a common vision of establishing a child-caring institution for the orphaned and disadvantaged children. They took the burden to reach out and address the plight of children belonging to poor families in depressed communities, in the true spirit of Christian love and service. Its main office is located at 188 Kaimitoville, Kaimito St., Valle Verde II, Ugong, Pasig City. The organization has thirty-one (31) regular staff, fifteen (15) volunteers and five (5) members of the Board of Trustees.
It was certified for 3 years on August 1, 2003 and which ended on July 31, 2006. On its first renewal, it was certified for 3 years on October 20, 2009 and which ended on October 19, 2012. On its second renewal, it was certified for five (5) years on November 12, 2012 which ended on October 9, 2017.
The organization’s mandate is anchored on the Biblical passage : “train up the child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6) Its Purposes among others are: “to enable the needy, neglected and deprived children to become responsible Christians by providing holistic child care and development services; to provide quality Christian education among children in the community; to reach out to children in faith communities.” The organization’s programs focused on the following: 1) alternative home care program; 2) community childcare and educational support program; 4) college support and 5) Christian education and pastoral support.
