The Chosen Children Village Foundation, Inc. (CCVFI) was founded in 1989 by Ma. Angeles Peypoch “Lita” Fullerton and Ronald Fullerton. It was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a non-stock, non-profit corporation on May 28, 1992. It is a permanent residential facility for children with special needs who have been abandoned, neglected and surrendered by their biological mothers/parents. These children have been surrendered for various reasons but mainly because of abject poverty. It is an operating organization. Its main office is located at Km. 49, General Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Lalaan 2, Silang, Cavite 4118.
Its purposes (V-M-G), among others, are “to be a Christ-centered village of children envisioned to ultimately become independent and self-reliant despite their disabilities and be able to attain a more meaningful, productive and satisfying way of life; to nurture, educate, train and provide opportunities to physically, mentally and socially challenged children to receive love, care and protection in a happy, therapeutic and non-rejecting environment through residential child care and to promote an accessible home-like environment that will enable them to focus on disability prevention, rehabilitation and equalization of rights in order to grow in a community that will enhance their self-esteem and capabilities; and to provide a permanent home for abandoned, neglected and surrendered children who are mentally and physically challenged”.
