The Care Channels, Inc. (CCI) was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a non-stock, non-profit corporation on February 18, 2000 by Yeoh Seng Eng and his wife Chwen Hwe Hau to share their blessings, holistically respond to the multiple problems of the poor, i.e. to address their basic needs, educational needs, health and medical problems, and to educate, teach and equip Christians. Initially, the center was only in Quezon City and have 5 partner churches. The work has grown to involve more than 45 partner churches and organizations and 2 centers in Mindanao (Davao & Maguindanao). It is an operating organization. Its main office is located at #48 Cambridge St., Brgy. E. Rodriguez, Cubao, Quezon City. The foundation has 10 regular staff, 3 seconded staff from affiliate company, 3 project-based staff, 2 part-time staff, 2 volunteers and 7 members of the Board of Trustees.
It was first certified for 1 year on March 18, 2014 and which ended on April 2, 2015. It was re-certified for 3 years on June 9, 2015 which ended on June 15, 2018
Its purposes (V-M-G), among others, are “to see holistically transformed lives who are empowered to be agents of change in their own communities”; to assist Filipino churches and Christians in a similar ministry by offering various social development programs. The Foundation’s programs/projects focus on: Education Sponsorship, Health Program (Medical-Dental Mission, Surgery program) Feeding Program, MSU-CCI Partnership and Community Development (church-based and school-based). Geographical scope of programs: Luzon & Mindanao.
