The Foundation was originally called “District 3830 Rotary Homes Parañaque Foundation, Inc.” and was registered with the SEC in 2011. It was renamed “Rotary Homes District 3830 Development Foundation, Inc. through an Amended AOI filed with SEC in June 2016.
It has been involved in the relocation of informal settlers living and contributing significantly to the water pollution along the riverbanks and waterways in Parañaque and, soon, Muntinlupa. Its focus activity is the building of homes and other community infrastructures like community centers and libraries. It partners with LGUs who sponsor the relocation sites, beneficiaries selection as well as the cleanup of waterways after being vacated by its fringe residents. It also partners with Rotary Club-Members of the District 3830 who will be in charge of the management, transformation and development of the community post construction phase that includes the conduct of values-formation, livelihood opportunities, and other community and social welfare activities. To date, it has completed three phases of construction projects which it named, PAR-1, 2 and 3 benefitting dozens of families.
