The Partnership of Philippine Support Service Agencies, Inc. (PHILSSA) was duly registered as a non-stock service network of social development, non-government organizations in the urban centers nationwide on February 14, 1990. It is a network organization located at the 3rd Floor Cardinal Hoffner Bldg., Social Development Complex, Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City. The foundation has a regular staff of seven (7), two (2) project-based staff, and thirteen (13) members of the Board of Trustees.
It was certified for five (5) years on November 2, 2004 which ended on November 1, 2009. On its first renewal, it was certified for 3 years on September 6, 2013 which ended on November 4, 2016.
PHILSSA envisions itself as a partnership network and resource center of committed and competent social development practitioners that advocate and work towards an inclusive, transformative and sustainable urbanization with preferential option for poor communities. It aims to strengthen capacities of members on good NGO governance; enhance sustainability of the network and members in terms of finances, leadership, and other capacities; build multi-stakeholder partnership models for delivery of integrated social services for poor persons and communities; and pursue policy environment that enables inclusive, transformative and sustainable urbanization. The network currently has seventy two (72) member NGOs nationwide engaged in varied fields of development service.
