The Family Cooperation Health Services Foundation, Inc. was registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit corporation on November 14, 1991 providing integral education and training to community health workers on health and environmental sanitation. Its main office is located at 69 Ma. Clara St., Rizal Village, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The foundation has one regular staff, one part-time and 27 volunteers. There are 11 members of the Board of Trustees.
Its purposes (V-M-G), among others, are “to empower the marginalized urban families to look after their health in order to prevent diseases, decrease malnutrition and improve their hygiene and environmental sanitation.” The Foundation’s programs/projects now focus on the following areas:
- Primary Health Care
- Care for the Elderly Training Program
- Continuing Education Program
- Nutrition Education Program and supplemental feeding
