Coalition for Bicol Development, Inc. (CBDI) was registered with the SEC as a nonstock, nonprofit organization on November 14, 1996. It is a regional network of provincial, city and sectoral formations that is committed to establish an institutionalized effort that will unify and strengthen capacities of NGOs and POs in the Bicol Region in maximizing their potentials to respond to the challenges of regional development. It operates in six provinces and 1 city in Region V.
Its main office is located at CASAFI Compound, Liboton Street, Naga City. CBDI has a total of 1 regular staff, 1 project- based staff, 2 part-time staff, 20 volunteers and 7 members of the Board of Trustees.
The program areas now include: Education and Training; Skills Training, Research, Disaster and Relief; Special Advocacies and Institution Building. Projects are implemented either directly by CBDI or through its member organizations.
It was granted a 3-year Certification on November 24, 2008 which ended on November 23, 2011.
Its sources of funds include among others, grants, donations, and annual dues from members.
Total donations received for 2011 and 2012 totalled to P7.04M. Its approved annual budget for 2013 was P776,033.93
