Children International (Quezon City), Inc. (formerly Unang Lingap-Kapwa Philippines, Inc.) was registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit corporation in October 1991. It is a social welfare institution organized to uplift the quality of life of marginalized children/youth and their families through its programs. Its main office is located at #5 Interior Free Press St., West Triangle, Quezon City. The foundation has a regular staff of 49, project- based staff of 9, part-time staff of 13, volunteers of 235, and 5 members of the Board of Trustees.
It was certified for 3 years on November 7, 2006 which ended on August 6, 2009. It was certified for another 3 years on December 23, 2011 and which will expire on December 7, 2014.
Its primary purpose is to bring real and lasting change to children living in poverty. In partnership with contributors, it reduces their daily struggles, invest in their potential and provide them with the opportunity to grow up healthy, educated and prepared to succeed and contribute to society.
CIQCI focuses on Child and Youth Welfare and provides programs and services on health and nutrition, education and material aid and family assistance amongst their sponsored beneficiaries.
